Trenton Tustian presents The Toole County Health Foundation with a check from the proceeds of the Hi-Line Half marathon which was spearheaded by local residents to raise money for the Marias Medical Center Infusion Room.

The Toole County Health Foundation was formed in 2002, under the name of Marias Medical Center Foundation, and has already had a huge impact on the medical services in the Hi-Line area. The Foundation has supplied funds to our hospital in many needed areas, from state-of-the-art medical equipment for our Cardio and OB departments to Alzheimer training for our staff members.

Thanks to the generous donations of many caring individuals, we have been able to purchase or contribute to the purchase of the following:

  • Fetal heart monitor
  • Multisource Thermometer
  • "Bladderscan" for hospital floor
  • "Brandt Suite" a hospice room in the Marias Care Center
  • Bilirubin Blanket for our jaundice newborns
  • Cardio equipment for the MMC Respiratory Department
  • Rental assistance at the Marias Heritage Center
  • Alzheimer training for our medical professionals
  • Patio furniture at Marias Heritage Center
  • The Brittain Guest House that offers housing for families of patients or traveling health professionals
  • Blood pressure unit for Neo Natal
  • Digital Mammography Unit
  • Temporal Scan thermometers
  • 15 adult/child manikins and 15 infant models for the Toole County Ambulance
  • $7000 toward the purchase of a color ultrasound unit for the radiology department at Marias Medical Center
  • $500 toward the purchase of a cardiac monitor for Sunburst Clinic

  • I-Pad for MMC's Occupational Therapy Unit
  • NuStep for MMC Rehabilitation Department

The Toole County Health Foundation has purchased a Recumbent Bike and NuStep unit for the Rehabilitation Department for cardio pulmonary and physical therapy patients.
