Darcy is a Shelby Native and came to work at Marias Medical Center in 1999. She received a BA in Psychology from Carroll College and her BS in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. Darcy has worked in a variety of areas including stroke rehab, spinal cord injury and acute and out patient settings. She is trained in WorkWell method for Functional Capacity Evaluations, Functional Job Analysis, and development of Pre-Work Screens.
Jennie received a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science from Northern Michigan University before obtaining a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her special interests include Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, ThetaHealing™, and lymphedema management. She is also Board Certified in Orthopedics, a licensed massage therapist, a credentialed clinical instructor, and able to provide Function Capacity Evaluations, Functional Job Analysis, and develop and perform Pre-Work Screens.

Gruber is MMC Employee of the Year
Gwen Heaton received an Associate of Science degree at Western Wyoming community College in Rock Springs, WY. She then received a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science and Health and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. She worked at El Pasco Physical Therapy Services before moving to Shelby and joining the MMC therapy team in 2008. Gwen’s special interests include manual therapy, orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Gwen is a credentialed clinical instructor.
Debbie is a Conrad native and joined the MMC rehab team in 2016. She received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Great Falls College-MSU. She has worked in several different settings including Extended Care, Acute Care, Outpatient care, and Home Health. Debbie enjoys working in our small community as she finds value in the close ties formed within the community. She also enjoys working in a blended facility that allows for variety within the clinical setting.
Laura Mehta has been employed at Marias Medical Center since September 2015. She started in the hospital as a C.N.A./ward clerk and is now in the Rehabilitation Department. As the Physical/Occupational Therapy clerk, her responsibilities include patient registration, scheduling, and billing; maintaining patient charts and other duties for the staff. Laura stated, “I’m thrilled to be here and be part of the team.”
